The iconic G.I. Joe character is coming to mobile! As G.I. Joe fans since the 80's, we were super excited when D3 and Hasbro came to us to create the announcement trailer for G.I. Joe: War on Cobra. The G.I. Joe themed mobile game will be hitting iOS, Android and Amazon devices on the 20th January 2020.
To get fans hyped, we created an action-packed trailer showing off the stars of the franchise: Duke, Cobra Commander, Snake Eyes, and Roadblock. The game is the first major G.I. Joe title since 2009-- we hope you're as excited as we are!
It's finally here! Our latest - and last, for 2019 - ad for Pokémon GO, 'Buddy Adventure', went live at the end of the year. The Pokémon Company needed a campaign to announce their new 'Buddy Adventure' feature in the Pokémon GO game so we jumped in and helped them out. Our approach was to develop a heart warming film that pays homage to the importance of companionship and friendship. We showed the story of a boy growing up with his favourite Pokemon, Squirtle. The nostalgic theme was able to introduce the new way of interacting with the game to a huge audience delivering a truly emotional experience to reconnect Trainers (or Players) to the brand.
Pokémon has been a staple part of many lives since the 90s. It's likely that, if you were born in that era, you probably had a collection of Pokémon cards or even a few plushies yourself. We set out to create something relatable for the Pokémon community.
Monopoly is being brought to mobiles and tablets by Marmalade Game Studio, which means no more flipping the board or fudging your finances! The family favourite game is being given a digital face-lift, and is available on mobile devices now, so you can scheme your way to riches on the go.
Marmalade asked us to create an announcement trailer for online, plus trailers suitable to play in app stores across mobile and tablet devices. The trailer aims to show all the functionalities available in this mobile version of Monopoly, with all the typical moves and options available, but jam-packed into a fun-filled app! Are you ready for the next family argument...?
XO19 is the annual celebration of all things Xbox, giving fans an insight into the new titles, consoles and hardware being released by Xbox and Microsoft. Bleeding Edge, the new IP from our client Ninja Theory, was initially announced at E3 earlier this year, but a new trailer was required for the Ninja Theory social accounts for XO19. Taking the full-length trailer, Maverick set about creating a 30 second and 15 second cut-down video that was high-impact and perfectly equipped to hype fans up on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
The trailer demonstrates the eye-catching Bleeding Edge characters gearing up for battle. One of the most challenging factors creating this trailer was fitting in all eleven characters with only a maximum of 30 seconds. To do so we implemented quick cuts and dialled up the SFX to keep the trailer punchy and optimised for social media. If you look closely at the end, you'll notice a teaser of a brand new Bleeding Edge character, Cass, who we subtly edited in with a focus on her USP-- her piercing, bird-like claws.
It's true-- strength comes in many shapes and sizes. This is what we portray in our latest animated trailer for Pokémon Trading Card Game: Sun & Moon!
When Cleffa, Togepi and Igglybuff come up against a trio of legendary Pokémon, the viewer might be thinking the worst, but our animation demonstrates that confidence is key in the Pokémon world, no matter what your size!
The trailer was shared across all official Pokémon channels, and it didn't take long for fans of the miniature trio to relate to their struggles. The odds might've been against them, but they were sure ready to fight...

As if Man of Medan isn't scary enough... the game signifies the beginning of a series of standalone horror titles developed by Supermassive Games and published by Bandai Namco.
With our first Man of Medan trailer hitting screens in July (watch here), Bandai came to us to create and produce the trailer that would announce the game's bigger purpose: The Dark Pictures Anthology.
The trailer centres on the Curator, walking through a hallway. Though a seemingly simple scene, this sequence is actually littered with clues and insights into Man of Medan and the anthology as a whole-- if you look closely at the pictures donning the walls, you'll get a clue into what lies ahead...
Differently to the live-action trailer we previously produced, there's no voice over. To make an impact, the trailer features a remake of 'A Conversation with Death' by doom metal band, Khemmis.
Have we got you excited for The Dark Pictures Anthology...? Remember: don't play alone.
It's not just big console or PC titles we work with! Our client, Bandai Namco, came to us seeking out a creative trailer to announce it's latest venture: tori. tori is a product aimed at children (and parents!) which allows players to bring their drawings to life across any device running iOS or Android. Seems pretty cool, if you ask us.
The announcement trailer shows the children's imagination come to life, coupled with some crayon-style animation drawings to make the footage pop.
tori is available to purchase worldwide now! Find out more here.
